Sometimes the fix is easier than others. This couple was looking to sell their home. When they had an inspector out, he noted there was a small amount of water damage dripping from the water line to the fridge. SERVPRO of Lombard/Addison came out and assessed the situation. The water had not been leaking for a long period of time, and the drip was very slow. Thankfully, the water damage was very minimal. The homeowners still wanted the home to be perfect for the next homeowners. We were able to move the fridge and apply containment to maximize the airflow to the wet area. We needed to drill only three holes in the ceiling and place a fan in the family room directly below the location of the fridge. Within three days the water damage had been dried and the homeowners were very happy with the work done. The inspector cleared their home, and they were able to sell it a short time later.
